The scenario
A manufacturer takes orders in Salesforce (Sales Cloud) and fulfills them in SAP. When an order is confirmed in Salesforce it must reach SAP within minutes; when SAP ships it, the status and tracking must flow back to Salesforce. Peak is ~50k order events/hour during promotions, SAP has scheduled maintenance windows, and finance will not tolerate duplicate or lost orders. Dell Boomi sits between the two systems.
Constraints to satisfy
